The second picture is just like everyone else’s. I really like the way you posed in the first picture but everybody is right -it’s not clear enough. Take another picture like that for your contest.

No, neither of them. You have to show that you’re confident, and that doesn’t include hiding behind super bright lights!
Go into a room with a big open window that lets a lot of natural light through, and get someone to take a picture for you! That way you can’t hide behind a lot of hair (which is gorgeous by the way) or blinding light. Try to get one of your friends to take the picture, so then you’re smiling a genuine smile! =)
retake the photos, neither are good enough quality! you want to take a standard mugshot to show your face fully and have the best chance of winning
